Healthy Life: kiwi smoothie recipe
I don’t know what you thing of living a healthy life, but I think it’s very difficult. I need half of my life to follow all the tips we usually read about how to do it: drink two liters of water, eat fruits and vegetables five times per day, practice sport and sleep eight hours… Luckily, sometimes, Zespri remind me that we must stop, take breath and go back to healthy.
Especially, I need start again to eat more fruit, but It’s impossible. No matter how hard I try it, my favorite fruits are only fruits that children love: kiwis, pears, strawberries, pineapples and bananas; and I even think twice before I eat them.
For this reason, when I got a box of kiwis from Zespri with a smoothie recipe; i didn’t think it twice. I had to try it!
If you live a healthy life you will feel its effects inside and outside (well… that’s what people say it…hahahaha… ). Also i don’t know if you know but kiwis have a lot of fibre and contain natural enzymes that make our muscles absorb proteins quickly. Kiwis absorb the glucose in our body and make the body absorb it slowly, so kiwis are a perfect ally for sporty people, and anyone who wants to keep fit.
By the way, here I give you a today smoothie recipe… I’m sure it’s the best way to return to eat fruit, even if it isn’t your cup of tea ;)
Recipe: Green kiwi smoothie
I put quantities for 4 people, but it’s important to get a personal touch with your own quantities and chosing different ingredients that you love. In my case, I always chose oat milk. It’s a good recipe to have in mid- morning or at breakfast ;)
Ingredients for 4 people
4 kiwis Zespri Green, 1 mango, 500ml pineapple juice, 50ml lemon juice, 100ml milk y 1 spoonful of fresh grated ginger
