Few days ago, someone asked me in my Instagram account if I’m going to record a new video about party outfits. I still don’t know if I will do it, but today I suggest you this Christmas outfit that could be a great idea for your Christmas dinner, lunch or a company party.

It’s a simple and formal outfit without sequins or transparencies. The truth is I often dress up for Christmas parties, but I don’t really go out partying or clubbing. I’m becoming more practical and rational; so spending loads of money in a New Year ’s Eve party, eating bad foodand dancing in one cramped room, doesn´t sound good to me anymore.

As everybody, I have hit the town more than few times… In fact, I remember last time I went out partying in New Year’s Eve. ¡It was insane! We arrived at the club around three o’clock in the morning, and after queuing up for an hour (yes, an hour!) we couldn´t come in. In spite of we bought the tickets days before, we were queuing for an hour! It was horrible… It was four in the morning when we were in and the Club was crowded. We were very hot and we went straight to the checkroom to leave our coats. At five in the morning I was dancing against someone´s elbows who was wearing a sequin dress. I gave my friend that look: “What the ffffare we doing here?”. Ten minutes after, we were leaving the club.

That was the last time I had the “great” idea to celebrate New Years Eve in a massive party. In view of the fact that it was an awful experience, I think the best choice it’s to celebrate the end of the year keeping away from huge parties. Also, I hate people’s sweat… It’s very nasty… don’t you?

Christmas outfit with pleated midi skirt

That´s the reason why I don’t often buy lots of party clothes, I prefer creating outfits matching special garments, for example this gold midi skirt I bought few months ago and that you have already seen in the post A different outfit with a pleated skirt and sneakers.

This new outfit is very functional, because It isn´t very expensive and it’s really warm. I’m wearing a long sleeves and turtleneck sweater. You can choose a fur coat to up your outfit too. I have a leopard print one but I think a color block fur coat would match better. It definitely will be more chic..
