Ramos de novia: el orígen

En el Antiguo Egipto, las novias solían llevar ramos de plantas aromáticas de intenso olor (ajo y tomillo) con el objetivo de ahuyentar a los malos espíritus. Al finalizar el ritual, los novios solían comerse los frutos del ramo de novia con el objetivo de conseguir ciertos efectos afrodisíacos. De ahí que el ajo sea considerado uno de los alimentos más excitantes que existen….
Con el paso de los años y los siglos, el ramo de novia ha ido evolucionando en preciosos bouquets de flores. Tradicionalmente, se componía con flores de azahar, puesto que era símbolo de pureza y, en algunas culturas y civilizaciones, se entregaba a la Dioses como ofrenda, a cambio de un enlace largo, feliz y duradero y la promesa de una descendencia fuerte y sana.

Tendencias en Ramos de novias: frutas y flores

Las últimas tendencias, sitúan los ramos de novia en elemento principal del atuendo de la novia, personalizado hasta el extremo: ramos de caramelos, gominolas, textiles, de crochette, de plantas aromáticas (lavanda, tomillo, romero) o los que más me gustan: de flores y frutas. Aunque tengo que reconocer que los de hortalizas son de lo más original, y me parece de los más gracioso casarse con una alcachofa entre las manos!! jajajaja ;)
El ramo de novia dice muchísimo de la mujer que contrae matrimonio y es uno de los elementos que se eligen con más cariño; por eso se entrega a personas allegadas a la novia durante la ceremonia, se deposita en la iglesia o se entrega como detalle a personas que han fallecido, y que son muy queridas por la novia.
Entregar el ramo de novia que has llevado en la ceremonia es hacer un regalo importantísimo que demuestra amor y cariño hacia quien lo recibe.
Como os decía más arriba, hay ramos de novia mil maneras, pero hoy quiero compartir la idea de combinar flores y frutas en el ramo, a juego con la decoración del resto de la ceremonia. A mí me encanta esta idea porque creo que la fruta simboliza los frutos de una unión sana y duradera… :) Recordad que si elegís que vuestro ramo lleve frutos, que sea en tonos acordes al resto de la decoración y sobretodo: ¡¡de temporada!!!
